Alternative to memory divider?

Hi,

I'm trying to find an alternative method of limiting the speed of my RAM when I wind the HTT up. My cpu will run @ 2.4ghz versus 2.0 std but this whacks the memory up to 240mhz (240 HTT) and its only Kingston value ram. From experience I know it will run fine for so long but I recently blew 2 x 512mb ram and the motherboard when the ram gave up.

My bios doesn't seem to have a memory divider option, is there any other way I can limit the ram speed when I overclock the cpu beyond 2.2ghz which it's quite happy at.

Is there a 3rd party program that could be of use?

Sorted!

"Memclock index value" is the one I've been looking for. Been playing for an hour now and dropped it down to 133mhz and managed to get the htt to 250 = 250 x 10 = 2.5ghz from a 2.0 ghz year old Newcastle on air cooling with a Gigabyte Gpower pro. By dropping the ram to 133mhz it goes back up to its standard 166mhz (333ddr don't ask!) with the o'clock so basically the cpu is way clocked but the ram runs @ std frequencies.

Job done - happy.

My ram is mixed as well thats why it runs @ ddr333. 2 x 512mb ddr400 and 1 x ddr333 so it runs at the slowest. From my simple experiments tonight it seems that the memory speed makes a much bigger improvement than cpu speed in Aquamark 3.
