Alternative to official WoW forums?

As title.I love reading informative posts from people who love and know the game,but it's difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff on the official forums.

I know there are a few forums around (incl this one

) but I'm after a few recommendations.Cheers

Elitist Jerks forum was very informative and factual, over past few months though it does seem to have attracted a few idiots as more people find out about it.

Worth a look though definitely.

Elitist Jerks is still the best source of factual info.

Try http://www.maxdps.com/ too for a really helpful guide to gearing up based on your spec and stats.

MMO Champion have fairly decent forums, mostly use the main site though. I also recommend WoW Insider for some great columns and views on the game.

I only read the official forums when I want a good laugh, the forum trolls, keyloggers and 12 year olds venting their nerd rage offer simple amusement when queuing to get online.

Seconding Elitist Jerks, but they will rip you apart the moment you say something stupid. This is good for a lot of people who don't want to put up with nonsense though. I pretty much use EJ everytime I want to find out something about the class I'm playing.
