I like wow but to me it looks pants now, Is there anything out there that looks better but has the same amount of content as the main game minus the expansions etc...?

Every single one lacks the end game content WoW has so none.
If you like levelling and looking at pretty things then GW2.

Wow is unique, that is why it has continued to do well despite all the hype for upcoming MMOs that do well for a month. I think the graphics are fine, they have a certain quirk to them but Blizzard are not going for ultra realistic. If you are looking for the WoW experience elsewhere I doubt you will find it.

Well the game is coming out next year but I think it will be a big hit, Black Desert I think that is what it is called

Honestly WoW is still great, however I now play on vanilla level 60 servers and occasionally TBC(L70) servers

Well to me WoW is starting to look ugly and if I'm playing a game for hours on end I want it to at least look good otherwise it becomes an eye sore, At least to me.
I've tried EVE but to be honest getting shot down by someone for fun gets old fast.
Maybe I'll wait and see what comes out.

It will be a massive grindfest.
People will play it in the beta or opening month then leave it...just like every single mmo since WoW.
Wildstar is pretty fun.
Its far more engaging combat so you arguably need a higher ability to play that than most other mmo's and its pretty fun overall.
If you can get your head around it being a tongue-in-cheek style game then its great.
If you do like story you can go for SWTOR although bear in mind that choices here are meaningless so its basically a Bioware game without being able to make any form of difference, be a tool as much as you want the same NPC's will affect you in the same way.
That all said im back onto WoW since the latest expansion and whilst I have only slightly dipped into it, it does seem fun. Im actually levelling up an original character I had who is just over 80 which places me in the realm of cataclysm stuff which surprisingly is good. I say surprisingly because it had a lot of flak.

I've not played WoW for ages because of the subscription cost. But I thought the 'cartoon' graphices would haved aged pretty well.
But in terms of graphics I'd +1 for Guild Wars 2. End Game is a bit lacking - though.
As a cheap alternative have you tried the original 'Guild Wars'? You can still buy it and it's a different (and sometimes spectacular) evironment from WoW... (but not up to modern standards re. graphics)

The main reason WoW does so well is that it can be played on a calculator.
It looks horrific and thats hard to get past if you're trying it for the first time like i did a week ago.

People are sayings Black Desert will be a grindfest? Bch pls I'm not even lv70 yet on my Deathknight and I've been playing nearly a monthIn WoW even the bloody grinding has grinding.
back in classic and tbc leveling was far slower than it is now
