Two adults and kids, only one adult will be going on a ride at a time so with that in mind, can you share a fast track pass or they in the form of wrist band?

Last time we went, we got a q-share pass which was great but do not think will be eligible now owing to height of youngest child.

Thanks.

Pretty sure they're still a little card/ticket, but unless you're thinking of getting the £95 platinum one, you only get one fast track per ride so sharing would be pointless anyway

Always worth getting the fast passes :)

Not sure the platinum one at AT is worth the price though.

Is it though?

The price is like three times more than s ticket to the park.

The best thing these days is to try and not go during school holidays or just don't go at all.

Eh I just said I don't think the AT platinum one is good value! But yeah, in some form another they are usually worth it - I usually stay over at an affiliated hotel and use their fast pass offer. The Thorpe Park hotel is quite good at this, you can do a lot at Thorpe park in a short space of time making the rest of your day quite relaxed. Would highly recommend staying in Hard Rock hotel in Orlando for this reason too.

Even if paying £5 saves you a mere hour of queue you've gained so much more time for the rest of your day... and it's always like you are effectively working for £x per hour for queuing - stuff that on a day off!

I
Sorry, I was talking in general about the fast passes and also AT in general.

I thought all prices for them were ridiculous being more than a ticket to get in the parks.

Depends I guess, if there is a ride you /really/ want to get on, then it may be worth paying the £5 to get a single one for that ride, but otherwise I'd agree.

The other thing is, how gutted would you be if you'd spent £95 on the platinum one, only to find out the queues are tiny anyway.

Also, a few of the bigger rides have single rider queues, which are often effectively the same as the fast track if you're on your own

A mate went there last week said the queue on fast tracks are very long cos everybody go for fast track tickets which making it pointless!

Not a theme park but the last easy jet flight i got on around 50% of people had fast track..... lol who's winning there.

HAHAHAHAHA

In my instance, we have not paid for the tickets to the park so buying a single fast track (if can be shared) would be a winner I think :D

*Assuming their are queues of course :D

I am not sure if it is possible now, they may have ironed out the abuse loophole, but the child swap pass was a great system that was open to abuse at the Merlin Parks.

In short I abused it (yes I am going to hell) and I never entered the normal queue for any of the rides on any day.

You take a three of four different pens with you, get yourself 3 or 4 child swap passes from customer services and enjoy.

Fast pass all the way.

Never understood why people pay more to get ON a plane quicker.

Check in 30 days before the flight and your seat is allocated anyway then join the queue as late as possible...

Its something I cant understand either. Its not exactly a free for all on the plane.

Unless I have a tight connect, I am also not prone to making a run for the plane exit the moment the seatbelt signs come off. I would sooner wait than run with the mob, having a young family taught me the virtue of patience with this.

Easyjet let you have an extra bag, and your bag won't end up in the hold (which happens on Easyjet if things get full)

If we're going on Holiday on Easyjet, me and my girlfriend pay £50 and share a large suitcase.

Then we just take day-packs on the flight which stow under the chairs and don't have to worry about even getting space in the overhead locker.

We've gone twice with them this year, which means we've paid £100 for extra baggage...

If we had the Easyjet plus with fast check-in, it would have cost £170 PER PERSON.

Basically, it's a complete waste of money unless you travel at least 4 times a year

Getting space in the overhead locker is the only reason I see to queue early.

It is annoying if you've got everything in one case, which then needs to go in the hold because there's no cabin space left.

Putting things under the seat in front isn't an option for me as lack of leg space is already an issue.

My missus is a demon when it comes to luggage and flying. She will literally take up every available kg/lb that is available to her. This normally includes packing the hand luggage well beyond the 7 to 8kg allowance on the basis that a number of airlines dont check.

It caused an issue on an internal flight from Orlando to NYC recently when United rumbled the wife, and we basically had to throw away about 2 to 3 kg worth of stuff because she had overloaded us.

My last trip family holiday =

8 x suitcases at 23kg each....yup ebvery available kg was used.
4 x hard hand luggage pieces varying from 5kg to 14kg
1 x hand bag (missus)
2 x laptop bag (mine and missus)
1 x 4 foot Minnie Mouse soft toy
2 x car child seats
2 x buggys

I was close to an anxiety attack before we even got to check in, let alone trying to fit it all in to our rental vehicle!

Especially with kids young enough to still need buggys and car seats... we went away for a week with one suitcase at 23kg for four of us! Blimey!

Or when you find out the rides had broken down. Last time i went to AT, 2 of the big 6 were out of action. I'd be well ****** if i'd spent £95 to only be able to go on 2/3rds of the rides!

It's all to do with getting carry on luggage onto the plane. I think Ryanair for example, only allow the first 90.

Obviously if you don't have carry on luggage, then you're right, no need to rush onto the plane.
