I bid on a couple of flash cards for my digital camera and then forgot about it.

I was a little surprised when I won and promply paid.

The problem is I bid on two cards and only one has turned up.Probably me just being a noob to ebay but heres the listing, what would you expect to receive?

if your won an auction for both cards and paid for both cards, you should be gettin both blimmin cards lol! email seller asap

you should have got 2 cards...

they made it clear it was for two cards, not one... they incorrectly posted that auction then, botch job lol!

You only bid on one, he was selling it in a "Dutch auction" style, if you wanted both, you would have had to bid 2 times.

Cheers.

Looks like an auction mistake to me, would expect both cards though as it's not your fault he listed it wrong. Maybe you could come to a compromise and get a bit of cash back form him?

I'd expect 2. He's defo in the wrong. :)

/edit...

It does say 1 available, perhaps that's because there were originally 2, and one sold. Maybe it was a dutch style auction then. Just not particularly obvious.

As said above, it was a dutch auction. Looking at the bidders list, you bid for one. He had multiple lots, there was 1 card not bid for.

However, the seller didn't make it obviously clear and he has written it as if you were bidding for both cards.

i'd want 2 it definately looks like it is for 2, and doesn't appear to be a dutch style auction. he should have been clearer either way.

Um, it IS a dutch auction. It says quantity, auctions never say that unless they are dutch style, one of the 2 has been sold, the other hasn't.

Yup id be expecting 2. If you look at the bidding history, your the only winnder, the auction has finished. There was 1 available, 1x2 cards i'd read that!

2 x Brand New 2GB Sandisk SD Memory Cards

Brand New Memory Cards (x 2) purchased by girlfriend on Ebay and are not compatible with our camera.

This alone gives the impression of selling 2 SD cards, however:

Quantity: 1 available

This does state that the quantity for the sale is just one.

Either he is trying to con people or it is a genuine mistake.

Its a 'Dutch Auction' as said above, you will only receive one item.

I believe they work like this: if that particular auction had five bidders for example, the two bidders that entered the highest amount win one item each because there are two items available. That’s providing they only bided for one item when placing their bid

When you bid on a Dutch auction you are asked how many items you wish to bid on.
