I built my PC back end of 2018 (spec as per signature)

I know my motherboard is now classed as end of life on some suppliers so a I due an upgrade?

i was looking at an M.2 drive, 500MB-1GB as an initial upgrade if people have recommendations but should I be looking at swapping out more?

Thanks

If it were me I'd wait until the end of the year until the Nvidia 3000 cards and the PS5/xboxSX are released if you're primary reason is gaming.

That'll give you an idea of the level of GPU and SSD speeds required going forward for the next few years as most games will be made with those platforms in mind.

Nope, rig looks fine with me

Unless your storage is full then sure, get another M.2/SSD if needed

Rather than base it off when you bought it (and you've still got some of the better components), best thing to do is to ask yourself if there's anything that you are struggling to run at the settings you want.
Also, 500MB-1GB of storage is a bit small. ;):p
