I have a 5870 and i have connected the computer to my 42" tv which does 1920 etc. However Metro 2033 the game only offers a resolution of 1050x1080 am i missing something?

Am I missing something on resolution?

Check the CCC settings - you may have it set to a lower resolution. Also, have you set the aspect ratio to 16:9 rather than 16:10 in Metro? (Assuming it has that option), as if it's still 16:10, 1680x1050 is the highest res that you can go with that aspect ratio.

Ok i got it ow at 1920 thanks for the info. turned out i had duplicated the screen across to the tv. Is there a hot key to swap desktop between monitors?
