Am i on a ADSL1 or ADSL2 line ??

You could look at the modulation type on your router (assuming it's set to Auto or Multimode so can decide what standard to sync to).

G.991.1 and G.991.2 are ADSL, .3 and .4 are ADSL, .5 is ADSL2+

Yes DSL Mode is set to auto..

But i can't found any numbers that match those on my router (netgear)

I looked through all these parts of the router
ADSL Settings
Basic Settings
Router Status
Connection Status
Statistics

Your connection speed can give clues too. The upload speed on ADSL tends to be lower than ADSL2+ even on longer lines. From memory (and this might be wrong you are looking at 448 upload on ADSL and higher on. ADSL2+.
 
Which Netgear router is it?

Other than upload sync you could Telnet into the router or download Routerstats (great little program).

Connection Speed
Downstream = 15728 kbps
Upstream = 764 kbps

Netgear DG834G


P.S I just ordered a Netgear N600 ( DGND3700 ) this morning..
 
With 15728 kbps/764 kbps you can only be on ADSL2+. ADSL is limited to 8xxx kbps downstream (I forget exactly what).

I do believe the DGND3700 uses a Broadcom chipset so you should be fine with that modem/router. You may even get a higher sync than the 834G which was non-Broadcom. Broadcom is good with ADSL2+.
