With 15728 kbps/764 kbps you can only be on ADSL2+. ADSL is limited to 8xxx kbps downstream (I forget exactly what).
I do believe the DGND3700 uses a Broadcom chipset so you should be fine with that modem/router. You may even get a higher sync than the 834G which was non-Broadcom. Broadcom is good with ADSL2+.
