Is there away of checking what power / watts im utilising at the moment with my rig ?

Im not sure how to check apart from using a digital read-out plug ( i forgot what they are called) You can use one of them and run an intense benchmark to see what the max power draw is.. though they can cost a bit..

To be honest you are fine. i wouldn't expect that to pull anymore than 350W/400W at max load.

In addition SSD's use very little power so it's unlikely several would push you over the edge let alone one.

Doomedspeed was referring to a Plug-in Energy Monitor, like this if you're curious. :)

^About £10-15 from the likes of B&Q. Just remember that will display the total power which will be more than what your components pull from the psu.
