Am I supposed to leave my router on 24/7?

But it has no switch. I take it I switch it off from the mains?

They are generally meant for 24/7 use, hence the lack of a dedicated off switch. Why would you want to turn it off anyway?

Mine gets really hot if i leave it on, i just unplug it when im not using
