Am I the only one who hates CSS layouts?

To me there are a few very annoying problems with CSS which include
no vertical centering.
no float: center
the way 100% works, 100% height for example.

That and IE6 support but.. y'know.. that's not CSSs fault

Of course, hence why it's an annoyance rather than a catastrophe, my point is that it's really something that should be supported without ugly hacks.

This is exactly what I was saying. Workarounds shouldn't be necessary.

If you like the way tables work, but want/have to use css I can heartily recommend http://www.blueprintcss.org/ for a nice, easy layout.
