Am I the only one who isn't bothered about BF3 trailers?

Hey all.

I loved BF2.
I love BC2.
I have pre-ordered BF3 anyway.

Why are people so excited over the trailers etc?

Yes it looks good but I will be buying it regardless of how good the trailers are.

I am excited about the game not the trailers.

Well personally I've found some of the trailers pretty awesome, others less so. I much preferred seeing actual gameplay footage, the tank gameplay from E3 was what got me excited the most

bf2 also has jets, people seem to make out bf3 is the first to have such things.

Everyone knows trailers are indicative of how awesome the game will be, just look at Dead Island! :rolleyes:

Sums up everything you need to know about trailers. Anyone with a faint grip on reality knows they mean nothing...

Trailers are meh for me, i wait till i can either test the game myself, or people have posted gameplay videos on YouTube.

Unless something has changed since I last bothered to watch BF3 trailers, they showed pretty graphics and HEAVILY scripted combat and events. That won't mean a damn thing when it comes to actually playing the game.

The single player will be a highly scripted orgy of totally epic situations... and will be awesome for the 6-8 hours it takes to complete it

The multiplayer is where the next 60 -80 hours of the gameplay will be and as this hasn't really had much airtime in the trailers they are not that indicative of the actual game

Caspian trailer. 1080p. 350MB. Watched on a 1080p HD LCD TV. Almost came in my ****ing pants. Go play WOW!
