Am I the only person in the world that completely HATES the rumble feature on pads?

Can't disagree about Resistance, I've said it all before about how bad so many elements of that game were. I'm sure you've read it before, so I don't need to repeat myself :p.

Can't see what all this Resistance hate is about, I thought it was a fine and dandy shooter, and a particularly good launch game, especially the MP aspect.

Now compare it to the competition.
Resistance looked and played as a very average FPS game without any others on the PS3, compared to ones on Xbox360 it's woeful.

But compare it to the 360 launch FPS Perfect Dark Zero, Resistance wins hands down, and I quite liked PDZ too. Seriously Resistance isn't as bad as people make out on here, and it does make a pretty fine MP Game with the dedicated servers and all.

Absolute ******! Resistance was quality you dont know what youre on about! The only thing annoying was overheating as chimera as mid combat your kinda forget youre in rage mode + you cant crouch when youre an alien! BRING ON THE RISE OF !!!!!! :)

I'd disagree there too, I thought PDZ was a better game.
However, if we're talking launch FPS games I'll mention Call of Duty 2 as it's still one of the best console FPS games.

As for Nanoman, I'm really surprised you're defending a very average PS3 game.

As you know mate I agree with you every step of the way on CoD2, still to this day one of the best FPS on any console, was it a launch title though? My memory is vague but I seem to remember it being a bit into the consoles launch, I could be completely wrong though, anyway all I'm saying is I really enjoyed Resistance, it's no game of the year, I just don't think it deserves all the hate it gets around these parts, especially the MP, that is definitely above average. I don't know many console FPS with that amount of players online on dedicated servers.

I'm sorry, RFOM is the most Generic FPS ever. It's a FPS by numbers.
As for Generic Xbox360 ones, I'm trying to think of some. I'm not saying they don't exist, but if you're looking at exclusive ones Bioshock, Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 3 aren't exactly 'generic'.

I'm looking forward to RFOM2 though, it can't be worse than the original and should have a great MP mode like the first one.

Theyre not exclusives either, like most FPS's, Id prefer to play all them on the PC!

According to Gamespot Resistances user score is 8.7 so not as average as you would like to believe, enless the 10k people that voted are the minority! :)

I think 10k of the 1,000,000 plus who bought it would class as 'a minority'. However, how many of those votes were cast when there was no alternatives on the PS3. That was a launch game and the PS3 didnt' offer anything for a further 6 months at least.

Dunno it was a bit of pants 'comeback' really. Something along the lines of the 360 not been able to handle the improved version of Gaiden so it went PS3.

I think the 360 is more than capable of handling the improved NGS, They only improved it to get some PS3 sales, and its not exactly improved, just added content afaik.

I figured that's what you meant, but wasn't sure if you were being serious especially with the new one being a 360 exclusive. I just took it for what it was though :).
