Am I the only person that craves another syndicate wars style game?

Man that game was ace.

You had to equip your agents, steal scientists to work on new weapons research and accomplish missions.

Apart from Tribes 2 and Fallout 1 and 2 (the best games ever created) I think syndicate wars has got to be one of my favs......I wonder why they never made any more?
 
Nope, you are not alone. I too, miss the persuading of general public to fuel the funds of my syndicate. And also the torching of police cars and enemy agents. Bring it back please, UT3 engine but with the same pseudo isometric view.
 
I'm glad i'm not alone is loving and missing Syndicate (original name). What a great game and a little disturbing how much I enjoyed using the flamethrowers on people.
 
I had it on the Playstation and it was absolutely awesome. I think it was missing a bit though from the PC version... I'm not entirely sure.

It was really very good though, I used to get a real kick out of blowing up the banks and nicking the money :D
 
The Amiga version was indeed fo the win...though much much harder than when I later played it on the good ol' SNES :)

I really miss Syndicate/SWarstoo - pursuading every single person in a level and running around with a giant mob of citizens/police/agents/etc was just damn cool :p

I've been thinking, and hoping, the same for years now.

Let me have a browse around and see if I can see any fan-made remakes or similar, will post back if I find anything...
 
Anyone remeber the demo for the pc version? You could torch the mother pushing the pram? Needless to say it was bad taste and was cut from the full game.

I still have the original Syndicate CD case but I lost the CDs. :(

Never played Syndicate Wars (apart from maybe the demo) but the original was awesome ... though I was pap at it. :o
