Am I too old for games

38 and still playing here

I've been playing multiplayers since the late 90's and dont intend stopping anytime soon

39 here and hardly game at all any more. Other than chess, I just can't seem to get into it.

I just realised the average age (guessitmate) on these forums is over 25 from what I gathered from this thread

You could've made this thread and every reply could've been 'yeah you're too old' and it shouldn't have mattered, do what you enjoy and if anybody has an issue with that well that's their problem.

My opinion is that 23 is the best age to play games. This does increase by one every year in my opinion though.

I game at 38 years old, though a lot of new releases don't hold my attention for very long anymore, maybe because the golden age of pc games is over and we're just seeing re-hashes now but that's another matter, I still game at 38 and so does my dad at the grand old age of 72!

One thing's for sure - I have far, far less patience now I'm 34 than I did when I was 14. If I have to repeat game segments more than a few times, the game goes off. Whereas in my youth, I'd happily go at it for hours to try and beat it.
