Picking up cpu and ram tomorrow, is there anything else i need? does the retail i7 3770k come with a stock cooler? also i guess if it does, the stock cooler should be fine as im not overclocking.

do i need anything else like thermal paste etc?

It comes with stock cooler with preapplied thermal paste. Do you want a Hard drive for storage or are you going to put everything on the SSD?

ive got windows 7 upgrade retail, which im hoping to get working somehow.

I cant afford more storage yet, i dont need much atm anyay

My advice would be to drop the SSD & go for either a F3 or WD,an SSD is not needed for gaming. Also the Asus p8z77 WS is a better mobo. Any money saved can go towards a better gfx card.

cant swap/change anything now as ive already purchased the goods, its the 128gb ssd.

thb i will prob only really play diablo3 so 128 should be ok, i was thinking of getting a usb extenal HD for any downloaded content which i can then use on my ps3
