AM5 Upgrade Help Please

I'd be very interested in your opinion on the 4070ti performance (what display are you using), seeing as I have the same mobo/cpu/ram. I've got a 3070tiFE in my rig atm powering a 4k tv. Not the greatest combo but for games like grounded it run fine. tried it with Lies of Pi, and it's a horrible experience, far worse than with the xbox, and I couldn't alter the resolution setting in the game. At some point I'm going to bite the bullet and upgrade the gpu, but trying to hang in there another year or so in hope next gen gives better price/performance...either that or I'll steal my 3080fe back off my son, who nicked it off meJust to close this off.
****** had an issue with the Palit availability, so I ended up with an MSI card.
All built yesterday. Initial impressions are:
- I had to do the expected bios update
- It appears absolutely rock solid. All I've done config wise is enable EXPO I, no other tuning/settings in the bios. Need to work through that over the weekend.
Whilst on paper it wasn't a huge leap, it seems significantly better
I've got a Samsung LC49RG90SSUXEN which I run at 5120x1440.
I don't really have a good set of games to compare to you with, mainly I only play FS2020 (at the 5120x1440 on Ultra settings) and Battlefront 2 (again 5120x1440, max settings).
I tried the new CS 2 the other day (again you guessed it, 5120x1440 and max settings) and it was ~160-180 FPS ish I think.
