AMAZING LOGITECH G11 GAMING KEYBOARD DEAL

That is a good price...

However ended up selling my G15 a while ago as I disliked the visibility of the button text which was only readable in good light or with the key light enabled...

Hmm how does this compare to the Saitek Eclipse 2, Microsoft SideWinder X6 and the Microsoft Reclusa?

I've owned many Logitech keyboards over the years & passed most of them on to friends/family etc still working great.

The Saitek Eclipse 2 that I've been using since they 1st come out is another matter  The illumination is decent & can be controlled, the lighting also shines through the lettering on the keys, not just between the gaps. Its nice to type on but NOWHERE near as tough (build quality) as even a £10 Logitech keyboard. Saitek will replacement broken keys etc FOC even out of warranty but I'd still say go for the G11. Especially with it being half price, its cheaper than my Eclipse.

Oh & I'll ordered a G11 now! lol :D

I'm just going to order now.. screw waiting a week lol.

EDIT: Order placed! :p

Oh does the hand rest bit that can be attached to the front come with it aswell?

P.S. When is the 640GB WD Black HDD going on sale? That's next on my list :p

Think of getting this and the Logitech MX518 to replace my MS Wireless Desktop, which even though lovely to type on just is letting me down in WoW. Will those two together make a reasonable combination?

I have been used a MX518 and a G15 rev1. (which is the same as a G11 but with the LCD screen panel) and they are great together - had mine for around 6 years.

Just joined up so hi everybody!

Anyway, i have been looking for a new keyboard for sometime as my old Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse i bought in 2002 was slowly dying of death.

So what luck to see this fabulous keyboard at a great price, as i wanted a gaming keyboard which also illuminates.
I looked at the Microsoft X6 online and i thought it looked pretty cool. So i went down to my local PC World yesterday and asked them to open the box so i could try it out. Good job i did because the keys just did not feel quite right; not as deep or sturdy as Logitech's keys. The X6 keys are small too which was a problem for me. So i told PC world thanks but no thanks, (they werent best pleased).

So came straight home and ordered off OC and it came today (excellent service) and i have to say its great. Takes some getting used to, and its not as big as i thought.

I hope to stick around a bit on here and ask for views and thoughts on a few things, as i am looking on changing my PC soon, and very tempted by the Goliath! :D

Having a bit of trouble with this keyboard now actually...doesnt seem to detect on boot up says "No keyboard detected" so I cant get into bios without a different keyboard. Once im in Windows its fine and working. Weird

Can anyone help at all?

Do you have USB Legacy enabled in BIOS - if not this can cause USB devices not to work in BIOS/boot up splash screen.

Received it today (typing on in atm) and it's very nice :) Very good build, very sturdy and keys are nice to type on.
One thing i'll have to get used to is when i want to press ctrl i'll have to move my hand further in because i've already pressed the G16 macro button instead of ctrl!
It just about fits onto my desk space (have to overlap the mouse mat and the kb!) so i think i'll use it instead of my other kb now. And the blue backlights matches the blue glow of my deathadder! :p (And blue LED from Z-2300 haha).

Also, i agree with a previous comment on here earlier (can't remember who) that it would be better if the keyboard could be tilted a bit more than what it does, because it's a bit flat for me, but i'll just have to get used to it i suppose.

For the media buttons, is there a way to program them so that they work without having to go to the media player window? The volume ring works, but the stop/play, etc doesn't work unless the media player's window is open.

I'd like to know this as well. Only concern with the keyboard after a couple of weeks of use! Pleased so far :)
