Its one of the defining qualities of racing drivers. Remember that bit with clarskon attempting to go round laguna seca as fast as possible ?

the pro racing driver just jumped in and blitzed his time. Racing drivers seem to be able to go beyond what your senses tell you is possible.

That sort of driving illustrates the driving having complete faith in the machine, and being 100 % comitted. Amazing to watch.
 
I'm no car expert, but honestly that thing sounded incredible. A couple of parts where he was picking up speed on a stretch there was a wistling noise, really high pitched squeel. Is that the turbo?

haha yeah, some of the owners of the ordinary road stuff must literally have had their foot flat to the floor, looked in the rear view mirror and saw nothing, looked again and theres a porsche flashing his headlights at you that appeared from nowhere.
 
Wow :eek: That's takes some courage, most quick laps you see don't have traffic either.

I love the way he (she?) gets the power down so early through the bends :D
