My old G500 started to get a double clicking problem, So i called Logitech to see if it was still under warranty and it wasnt 6 months out of a 3 year warranty.
The dude on the phone goes threw a few basics and askes me to send some pics in of the mouse and i did.

Next email was them saying they are replacing it with a g500s and a tracker number for ups.

Feels quite bizzare getting something for free.

I like Logitech ;)

Just to throw some balance in

I bought a logitech wireless headset while on holiday from day one I had problems.
the wireless mouse which was also logitech and headset were conflicting but not to worry I had a spare mouse

But I then noticed that the charging port on the headset was also broken and not seated correctly.

Thinking I would just use it and then contact logitech for a replacement(as i did hear they have excellent customer services, and it shouldn't be a problem )
8-10 weeks later when it eventually broke I contacted the customer services

I was told that without a receipt they couldn't do anything even though at the time the headset was less than 10 weeks old (the broken headset is still less than 5 months even today!! ) they would only offer me a 30% discount on another headset

I did not take them up on this offer as i felt a £60 head set should last more than 3 months .
so right now I have a logitech headset broken still in warranty and they wont replace or fix because I don't have a receipt.
and the only way for me to get a receipt is to drive 150 miles.

so i am not happy with logitech customer services

Get someone to text you a picture of the receipt or Facebook you it. Pretty terrible excuse really and I wouldn't blame a company for not honouring warranty if I couldn't prove when or where I purchased said product.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Logitech, they replaced a 4 year old set of EOL speakers with some brand new ones worth much more. Didn't ask for any proof I even owned them.

Very strange Zimboy, they normlly just ask for a serial number.
However it should be the retailer you're going to so soon after purchasing tbh

they did ask for a serial number which i did provide
but it dose appear it should be the retailer I should be going after.

when I see stories of people getting things replaced years out of warranty and Im sitting here looking at my headset which is still in warranty its kinda a bitter pill to swallow

I guess I learned to keep my receipts from now on

Logitech are normally fairly understanding, a lot of their products come with 3 year warranties and I believe some of the older desktop sets even had a 5 year warranty.
I'd try again tbh if you can provide a serial of an item that is within warranty (or even out of warranty in some circumstances) they should be fine

Logitech are indeed awesome... the backlight went on my Z5500's whilst they were in warranty but the kit worked perfectly and you could still read the display (in the light). Logitech sent me a whole brand new Z5500!!! Best support ever!

Great logitech support.

RMA'd my G110 keyboard (51 wks old) because of double characters appearing from a single keystroke.

They told me that they don't do the g110 any more and said that they're sending me a new g510s as a suitable replacement.

Once again. Logitechs aftersales support gets another +1. My Performance MX mouse had issues with right mouse button being intermittent and required to be pressed hard to work.

New mouse received today.

Recently bought another Logitech product too. G430 headset as my crappy old Creative one just gave up one day.
