**AMAZING VTX3D 7970 X EDITION DEAL - £359.99 Inc. VAT!!**

Pfft, way I look at it is - from the TPU Performance Charts, the GTX680 is 6% faster than the HD7970, but at OcUK prices, it's about 15% more expensive. And that's just at stock, I would expect that this card would at least match the GTX680 out of the box with it's clocks.

To me, that's a bit of a no-brainer! :)

Also, Gibbo, if you're still there, what are the stock levels like on this? Are you likely to run out before the end of the offer?
 
Great price and as OcUK would deal with any problems within the warranty period don't have to worry about the brand of it :). Just bought my 3930k and next month the money is going on the mobo and memory so two months too early for me :( any chance of prolonging the offer gibbo :D.

It would, but look up the adaptive vsync reviews that is being added to every Nvidia card with the next drivers and rejudge the value of a GTX 680.

And the stock has already ran out now on these anyway.

Its not that good dude, the damn consoles have been doing it for years, especially the 360, which has an AMD GPU..... It wouldn't take that much to apply to AMD's range if it gained traction.

Just so you know all it does is turn V Sync off on the fly if frames drop.

Awesome. Give me proper developer implemented triple buffering (ALA BF3.) any day of the week.

But will you be getting any more in at that price during the offer week or was that it? I was all set to order yesterday until my accountants sent through one of those types of emails that you never like to see. As in wanting lots and lots of money from me ;). I had to hold off ordering everything until after I spoke to them this morning.

Right now, can't source more so the product has been removed, if this changes I shall put it back and post in this thread.

The improvements it provides with Vsync enabled is very impressive, it might not take much to implement, so then why don't AMD implement it too?

What are the chances of you getting more? I'd have had one, but I don't get paid until the weekend! :o Was hoping there would still be some left. :(
