Amazon chat - Should I make a complaint

I might have to complain as well, ordered something yesterday at about 3pm which said it would be delivered today. The order is showing in my account as to be delivered today and also awaiting despatch. The two other things I ordered a couple of hours earlier have both arrived though.

This is after an order from the start of the week came a day late and they gave me an extra free month of prime. Should I try for a second free month?

Yes you should. They will no doubt give you another month.

Personally I wouldn't be trying to get someone in trouble when they're probably being overworked with all this Black Friday stuff

This,
maybe his Mum died that morning but he needs the money, so he sat on the phone listening to people moan about their 1st world problems.

Amazon is a crap place to work on a good day.

vent your spleen on OcUK forums as you feel you weren't able to vent properly to Amazon and then bend over and take it up the tailpipe or order from someone else then get on with your life.
OMGERDS Parcel didn't arrive the day they said it would, it's the end of the world....

:p :D

By the sounds of it I need to push harder. On average half my Prime parcels arrive late. A recent Tannoy Surround sound, was delayed twice after out for delivery messages. On the third day they tell me they cannot locate the parcel :o

One of my friends is a manager at Amazon for customer relations. I'm sure he told me once they pretty much get access to the same level of information as to where packages are as the customer.

I know this as I asked him where my package was once :p.

Sounds to me like he was just trying to have a bit of banter with you before he dealt with the issue. You threw a strop which cut it dead.

If you don't think in any way he was just trying to be friendly, put a complaint in. If you think you may have over reacted, just let it drop.

I would ask for a written apology from that employee, and to see whether they could be disciplined and sent on a training course.

Any feedback from them in regards to customer service from their employees, are justs words - they probably wont do anything considering them ramp up on staff for xmas and then get rid of them all.

I would go for free stuff/refunds/compensation etc

Let us know how it goes

I spoke to a manager on live chat about it, didn't ask for any free stuff

I have prime and my item didn't arrive on time, I was told it would arrive the next day and it still never did, I was then met with a rude staff member which added to my frustration. I was told the staff member would be dealt with
