Unnecessary. Most people already have a safe place for storing Amazon parcels.

In the trade we call 'em wheelie bins.

Useful for those who can't get their parcels delivered to work. Mine allows this, what's the general consensus here on mail being delivered to your work address?

since my company delivers amazon this is a great idea as i wouldnt have to deliver as many

All too often these days ordering something from Amazon things that used to arrive next day seem to take up to 3. Their despatch times have got quite bad i find

I have their Prime account, well worth it. Next day and I get parcels that I know I can carry delivered to work.

Order before 3pm, get it in 24 hours. Hell, it even includes saturday delivery and if I'm in london it includes same day delivery.

We used to have something similar in Germany with DHL parcels. They got sent to a drop box near my student accommodation which you got a note + password code for rather than leave them outside in front of the door.
