Amazon Echo Studio 2025

Received my Amazon Echo Studio 2025 last Thursday here’s a short video of it.

Only issue is that I have to ask Alexa to play Spotify to wake it up because the Spotify app can’t. Once it’s awake you can play whatever you like.

Well as of today the Spotify app can now wake the Echo Studio. This bug has been fixed.

I prefer the shape to the old one. My wife hates the thing and keeps putting it on the floor :/

It was working fine when I posted the message but later on that evening it started playing up again. Then I figured out if I leave it for 5 minutes the Spotify app is able to wake it up.

Probably just easier saying Alexa play Spotify to wake it up than waiting 5 minutes just to do the same thing. So far this morning it’s been behaving again but I know it’s a matter of time before it starts playing up again.

I had the old older version, problem was it sounded trash with Apple Music which I sub to on my apple one plan. And I presume most services the audio quality isn't quite as good as using their own music service.
Sold mine a few months back.
