Amazon on Samsung TV

Using the Amazon app on my smart TV, I've noticed speaking is very quiet yet explosions etc are really loud, needing me to put the volume as high as 50, sometimes 60 in order to hear them talking, no idea what's going on.

Netflix has no issues, also films through my TiVo etc all play fine, have installed the Amazon app again and no change.

Any ideas?

I find all internet steaming services have low volume, apart from youtube for some reason. I just turn the volume up when i stream.

It's annoying though as at night it's too loud but you struggle to hear them talking.

Yeah. I have to use subs for late night viewing. Some films need it anyway, particularly when you've got a bunch of Americans talking at breakneck speed to each other.

Yeah it is annoying. I started man in the high castle last night and some of the actors mumble and it is difficult to make out what is being said. So i just put subtitles on, no problem.

I had to watch the whole thing with subtitles on

Yeah i may have to do the same, the dialogue is really bad.

Poor quality of today's actors' craft rather than the streaming technology. My old mother continuously bemoans the mumbling of actors nowadays.
