tempted to buy a few movies as I already have a stick..I assume when I buy them from amazon video I can just stream them when I want rather than having to download them?

spectre, star wars and deadpool are the ones I was thinking

I like the sticks...I even use it at home on the main telly as the iplayer app is better than the one on my TV, so is the netflix app

plus its so easy to pack for holiday, cottage we use in scotland has wi-fi so it just gives us loads more to watch than normal freeview

Yep buy them then stream them on the stick whenever you wish.

Exactly, I had the original Amazon TV little box but when I went contracting in London I bought a stick and took that with me, take up no more room than a usb pen drive and also the power cable is the same as my Fire HD so only need to take one cable

Obviously bought a fire stick (just needed it for the new bedroom tv)
Paper white kindle
Some toys for our boy

Now just searching for the sake if it :D

Picked up 16gb of Crucial Ballistics 1600 memory for £37 earlier.

I assume I'm ok to post here now that the deal has closed? If not them Mods please remove, or let me know and I will.

Ordered a few things, trying not to go too crazy D:

1. Xbox One Elite wireless controller - from Amazon Warehouse £81.66 (Very Good condition, item in original packaging, minor cosmetic damage).
2. LEGO Star Wars 75101: First Order Special Forces TIE fighter - £36 with Prime membership.
3. Uncharted 4 for PS4 for £27.99 from Prime Now app using £5 discount code. I think the code was SAVE5.

Looking at the Hue starter kit, but not sure I would truly get that much use out of it, especially if the lights "forget" their settings on being powered off at the wall in case of being in a lamp or something. Anyone here who has the Hue light system got any comments on it?

Took advantage of the £5 credit when buying a gift card for £30. Also the Audible trial thing recently for an extra £10 credit too.

Not really anything I need atm tbh. I hammer Amazon though, always ordering from them, shame i'm not in the market for anything at this very second though!

I love my hue starter kit. Got them all in the living room 2 in the ceiling and one in the lamp. You can set them to do what you want via the app.

There are pre programmed scenes or you can program scenes yourself to do what you want.

They also act as normal lights so switching them off and on puts them to normal white mode.

It's great dimming them down if about to watch a movie or turning them on if someone can't see without moving :D

Hue system is great in my view, just a bit overpriced. Picked up an extension kit for my lightstrip. Tempted to get a couple of bulbs but don't really think I need them.

At the moment the Logitech Harmony Elite has me tempted to upgrade from Harmony One touch, but not sure I can justify £140 on a remote!
