Amazon Prime delay?

So it seems like nothing on Amazon is available until Thursday with Prime. Looked on Twitter and can't see anything, but seems like a big delay and I haven't seen a single item that's available sooner.

Anyone know anything? Date error? One day delivery is still the default option at checkout.
 
Got to be down to the weather this week IMO. Maybe a wholesale of shifted shipping times in their warehousing system?

If you can wait, order then complain that as a Prime customer you should be getting better service. They'll give you a free month of Prime on top of your existing sub.
 
I noticed this last night and was wondering if it may be snow, or the anticipation of snow, related.
 
I just had a moan to Amazon on this very subject. My dear mother wanted an electric blanket and although showing as in-stock, supplied by Amazon, the earliest "Prime - Next Day delivery" was to have it on Thursday.
Their excuse was "The item was not available at your local fulfilment centre so we need to procure it from a different centre and hence it will take a few more days to be delivered"
In my opinion - doesn't add up. Why can't a different fulfilment centre send me the item directly? It doesn't add 3 days to the delivery!
 
I ordered some stuff from Amazon last night on the free delivery (3-5 business days) option. It was delivered a couple of hours ago - a bit unfair for those of you paying for quick delivery!
 
I work for royal mail and we are expecting road closures everywhere on wed/thrusts/Fri so id assume it's to do with this.

Am also seeing prime thrusday for everything.
 
I wonder what the membership percentage year-on-year to Prime has been since it was introduced ? The quality of service (whilst by no means bad) has been anecdotally declining since I've been subscribed to it.
 
I have ordered some things on a oneday/next day delivery they are also going to arrive thursday. I will send them a message about it not being what i paid for as i do everytime a delivery is late. We havent had to pay for a subscription this year with all the 'free' months they give due to there crap logistics service.
 
Can see a number of items show up just fine with delivery scheduled for wednesday, but others do seem to have been pushed back to thursday. Mixed bag it seems.
 
They added a buffer on days just in case.

They made the decision about 4pm today.

Products will still go out but if the weather is bad in the area then you may not receive them.

They did something similar during Prime week and over the holidays.
