Amazon: your total orders in 2020

305 so far.

First year to break the 300 mark.

We order all sorts from there, in fact we very rarely visit physical shops anymore, other than the local small supermarkets for extra bits and bobs.

*Edit* That's just for me, not the Mrs though. She orders less than me, but probably 50 or so orders this year at a a guess

**Edit** 231 from her! It contains her kindle purchases too!

535 in total :D

I do order household/groceries etc from subscribe and save though as often the deals you can get are much better than from supermarkets as if you have over 5 things you get a further 15% off. You also often get 20 or 30% vouchers off things in addition too.

149 for me. Probably 3 times as much as last year for a few reasons:

Various lockdowns meant I ordered bits and bobs if otherwise pick up in shops (light bulbs etc). Working from home thanks to covid means I never need to worry if someone will be in to take the package in.

Started using audible so have some purchases for that in the list

More movies rented from amazon, again thanks to lockdowns

32, how on earth people rack up almost 500 orders in 2020 is completely beyond me. I have less than 300 online orders in my 16 years using the internet.

Literally everything is cheaper on the internet.

Even car tyres. I can get much better tyres for the same price as a standard tyre on the street.

I've ordered 26 things alone from Amazon in the past month.

I just bought an arcade cabinet from Smyth's today online.

I'll be ordering an additional 2 items tomorrow because I have online vouchers to use for stores and I want to use them rather than lose them if the stores were to go bust any time soon.

I buy insurance online several times a year for the cars, home, etc. Then flights and accommodation all done online for various holidays pre Covid.

I've even just started a hello fresh order using their website I'm going to try for a month to help us through the festive period. I've even in the past ordered craft gin boxes and craft beer boxes on a monthly basis.

It's easily done. Then there is AliExpress. You can get the latest tech for less than half the price. Wireless iems, robot vacuums, etc yes a lot of tat on there but I only buy the well known brands that are becoming household names over here.

It's not much, but it helps with the guilt of using Amazon.

I've got a couple of mates on Facebook who never stop posting about Amazon and how we should all feel guilty about using it because of Bezo.
The way I see it (and I haven't seen my total yet), I have given my money to scores of business's that aren't Amazon and just because they take a cut I'm still helping to keep those businesses afloat.
No guilt here.

By buying crap they dont need xD

We have "Amazon fresh" now, what next, amazon cars? Eugh imagine that, Alexa nagging at you because youre driving to fast. Its gonna be like that black mirror episode where one massive company owns everything.

I didn't think I bought anything this year but I did buy an SSD cos I wanted it quick and had a free prime trial.

I am a big fan of amazon, their support is second to none and combined with camelcamelcamel and keepa it's easy to find some good prices or delay purchases until the price drops to the desired level.

As a famiy we have 30+ items in our subscribe and save every month. It works out very well and saves us going to the highstreet.

Someone will easily exceed my orders I'm sure.

Thank you, what do I win? I'm genuinely surprised that's the case. It's making me think I may have some kind of addiction although when you also factor in what we buy it's very rare I'd need to go to the shops even for clothes/sports equipment/sports clothing etc.

It's ok... you're only ordering about 2 items, every. single. day.

That is quite enlightening because I mainly bought off eBay but got Prime early in the year
