Your cooler has a max TDP of 140w. The 5800x is 105w so you will be fine. Dont forget to order thermal paste.

Thats a good question as the thermal grizzly I had turned to cement. Sorry to say it depends. Have a practice and see how you get on.

I've been using arctic and noctua but its not a issues can always buys some.

I purchased A 5900x off the MM, and paired with a DeepCool AK620 cooler. And during conquest on BF5 I was peaking around 65-68c in game.

Thanks, I ended up ordering a 5800x, I'm hoping i will also get good temps.

Thanks guys like I said before I ended up going for a 5800x, kept the U12S, I've not changed any of the settings in the bios yet, I kept everything the same as when I had the 1700x, things do seam a little smoother.

The pc does make a little more noise than before but that could be because I cleaned out all the dust (dont know).

I don't know what temps I should be getting.
