AMD 3500 AM2 overclock?

My guess is that dual core pricing will remain at the current levels until Conroe is released where AMD will likely adjust their pricing to remain competitive. It's probably not going to be much of a price drop to remain competitive (particularly at the top end) regardless of what the Conroe fanatics might think. :)

I just have...on advise about new intel boards coming out just after xmas...I will no doubt move to conroe when its more 'clearer' on testing scores, availability, pricing oh and the kentsfield project. :)
 
Bloomin' typical...

I was planning to go AM2, but the best chip I could afford atm would have been the 3000+ so instead i've picked up a 939 Opty 2nd hand... now they go and drop the 3500+ to some stupidly low price... bah I say... BAH!

Ah well this should give me some nice performance til I get an el cheepo 2nd hand X2 at crimbo when everyone drops them to go Conroe :p ;)

If things get any cheaper, I may just get a single core system on the cheap - but ideally I want to hold out and save for an X2 system.... too damn tempting though!!!
 
just brought 3500 venice 80.00 delivered inc vat look around some mega bargins not oc by the way and its retail.
