Hi guys got a problem with this cpu. Ive upgraded an old system and now the system either crashes at the post or the montitor says no input device and powers down.
Im using and Asus m2n4-sli board AM2 chipset, 4GB ddr2 Ram.
Ive flashed the bios to 1301 from the asus site which says its for this cpu and its still the same. When i revert back to the old AMD 64 3500+ cpu with the stock heatsink/fan the system runs fine. The new chips is AMD 64x2 5400 black edition with the brisbane cores and a coolmaster fan/heatsink.
Any ideas?
