Was anyone else like me waiting to see if AMD could pull something out of their failing hat that might just surprise us?
I kinda feel even though they are not out there yet that Phenom and the 790 are just something to keep pace with intel that once again came X many months too late.
I would consider AMD but I am now beginning to think anything I bought from them right now wouldn't last because it is so mediocre they need to replace it soon. I just have no confidence in purchasing a product from them that could offer longevity to some extent.
Quad crossfire? Do you need 4 cards to compete with nvidia/intel? One can only imagine the psu you need to run 4 cards with a quad cpu.
After such a pathetic R600 launch a failure with phenom and 790 is a real final nail in the coffin. Faith in AMD was failing and this the way things are looking will undoubtably destroy my faith completely until they can prove to me they can bring something competative to the table.
