I'm bored so i decided to share some different fan profiles that people can use with afterburner or any other software that allows fan control with a reference 7xxx series card.

I've tested these pretty thoroughly using the blower and can confirm great results, just pick depending on how much noise you can put up with and how much of an overclock you apply.

I'm able to maintain a good overclock with a slight voltage bump and keep the fan silent. :)

I use silent/quiet for all games apart from sleeping dogs extreme which required balanced. This is with a speed of 1152core/1823 memory, 1.137 volts (stock 1.112) memory 1.656 volts. (stock 1.6)

Silent - Stock

Quiet - Light overclock

Normal - Decent overclock

Balanced - Performance version of normal, no increase in sound level but better, quicker cooling.

Performance - For Large Overclocks

Performance Extreme - Extreme version of performance with no increase in sound level but better, quicker cooling.

Benchmark - For extreme overclocks to bench

Benchmark Extreme - Extreme version of benchmark with no increase in sound level but better, quicker cooling.

I find the stock Afterburner curve fine for everything on my Gigabyte, it never goes over 63c.

Exactly what I'm looking for. My WF never goes above 62C but runs the fans at 75% to do it.
Cheers for this !

I missed this thread. Great work mat witch one would you pick for a 7950 OC 1100/1500 for gaming?
I already hit 75c in some games if I could keep that to about 70c I would be very happy.

Noise not really an issue has I game witch headphones on, But I dont want 90/100% :D
