Hello there i`m new to this overclocking . I was just wondering is this any good for a first attempt. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=139504 :confused:

my rig is DFI LANParty NFII Ultra B
AMD Athlon 2400 XP
RAM Timings : 2.5-3-3-7
RAM Size : 1024 MB
RAM Freq : 178.4 MHz
PC3200 :confused:

thats brilliant even if its the max the chip can do...most xps strugggle over 2.4.

nice one - what vcore is it using?

its 1.80 and the temps are 45 idle and 54 loaded playing games.
To be honest i got the rig for my son to mess about with . but started reading this forum so i give it ago.

That is a very nice XP clock. What cooling? I'm surprised temps are so low, my 2500 @ 3200 is ridiculously hot at stock volts :eek:

I wish mine overclocked like that, the most I could get out of it was about 2.3GHz. Even then it was at least 60 degrees under load.

To be honest i have no idea its a cool master ??? but it runs at 4018 RPM. And its very noisy and these 4 fans in the case.As i said i got it second hand and all i did is tinker with it.

thats running very cool for such a chip and overclock. i suspect your not loading the cpu properly to get its max load temp.

use that, snm is very good for heating up that cpu then you will really know if its stable or not.

i just downloaded speedfan and this is what it said

temp 1 35 c
temp 2 47 c :confused:

hello there i used super pi mod to test it. is it safe that high because a mate said bring it back a bit to 2510.28 MHz but im still getting about the same temp.how ive tested at 2510.28 with OCCT for the 30 min it takes and SP2004 for about 4 hours
date of my 1st clock was on 19 Nov 2006
