Hi there

Being working closely with AMD to bring you their entire gaming stack at new lower prices, in fact the prices are so low that on cards like Fury's we are over £100 cheaper than competitors, FREE shipping is also enabled on all cards and we have a card at a price for everyone.

Remember AMD cards are GCN and have A-Sync compute with full DX12 and Vulkan support resulting in great performance boost on AMD cards with driver updates and API updates. For example an RX-480 and 390X have had vast performance increases in Doom.

It is great to see such incredibly powerful GPU's for £300 and less that are capable of playing all of the latest games today, the 380X at £149.99 and the Fury at £299.99 are absolute steals, they are so hugely powerful and fully support DX12, Vulkan and A-Sync compute really brings these cards to live and able power through the latest DX12 and Vulkan titles without issue. :)

We are vastly cheaper than any competitor on each GPU. :)

The 390 for £200 does make it a lot harder to buy a £250 480, doesn't it.

390's are an epic buy, I am down to under 100 units left though now, I am trying to find more but struggling, seems pretty much all the stock is now dried up.

Fury I think at £299 takes the cake though! :)

Some really tasty deals on the freesync monitors, which is partly the reason why I'm hesitating going over to nVidia - price of G-Sync monitors in general.

I just have hesitation going for a 480. Its a decent card aimed at the mainstream, I just wish they had something comparable to the 1070.

The Fury is more a rival to the 1070, trades blows I'd say. Find some reviews of Fury where they test with newer drivers, it is now a very quick card indeed. :)

Indeed, but we're in a new generation of GPU chips now in terms of manufacturing process, VR support etc. I'd rather get something leveraging these new technologies.

Just got to be patient with AMD I guess..

The Fury is GCN, it has all the new technologies, Fiji was and is well ahead of its time, it just needs software and API support to mature to see further gains which is now happening due to DX12 and Vulkan.

the sapphire Fury Nitro at 299£ is a killer deal

This was the deal I thought hardest for, we got 1k incoming as a Fury is so damn powerful and HBM. I feel a very future proof card and really unbeatable at under £400 at 1440P and 1080P, its even very capable at 4k as AMD Matt has proven with running just a single Duo Pro core (Fury).

I've been holding off for the 480 Nitro coming in, is the Fury a better bet at this price ?

As much as I like RX 480 Nitro, it is still a mainstream or mid-level gaming GPU, it just happens to be a very capable one.

Whereas Fury is a flagship top of the range GPU with insanely fast memory (HBM).

Hard call really, but Fury will be faster in everything at every resolution.

Acer xr34 and fury nitro for under £870, sounds expensive but a hell of a lot of gaming lovelyness for the money

To be fair the same from Team Green is £1400, so your saving £500 for essentially a similar experience. I'd say G-Sync has the edge, but is that slight edge worth £500 more?

My point exactly, it only sounds expensive but if you look at the alternative it's a great price, I have the xr34 fury combo and cost a fair bit more but I'm chuffed with it

The X34's are my personal favourite monitor, I still have an LG 34" curved for work, but if I was gaming I'd be buying the Acer Predator curved Freesync or G-Sync, OK I know the Freesync is not a Predator, but it is same monitor lol with more or less identical chassis. :)

Damn it! I was so close to ordering that Fury X for that price, aaand it's gone :(

Guess I'm keeping my Devil RX 480 pre-order so.

They should not be gone, they are on pre-order, arriving next week and are live on the website stating as such.

Maybe cache issue or something.

i have 2 and play at 4k. not seen any problems with the 4gb of hbm

AMD Matt can probably confirm but for some reasons the Fury / Fury X 4GB HBM does not seem to cause them any limiting issues due to lack of VRAM even at 4k. I am not sure but my guess is the HBM works differently or has a form of compression, but let AMD Matt explain. :)

I'm tempted by another Fury for £299 but I'm looking at going 1440p wide. Is crossfire/dx12 multi adaptor any good and will I be mugged off by only 4gb of vram? I'm only on 1080p at the moment so it isn't an issue now.

With HBM 1080P and 1440P are certainly no issue with 4GB, but I personally would probably only buy one card as I seriously cannot see a Fury running out of horsepower at 1080P and 1440P, it should blast through every game maxed at at 1440P at 60FPS and higher.

WTH??? Price drop? Aren't we supposed to on verge of economic meltdown, with £ hitting lows not seen the last ice age ;)

Well it is easy to work out, times the AMD prices by 1.30, then divide them by 1.45 and you will arrive at the prices we could have done. :)

If I get the USD cost down by a good chunk, the price drops irrelevant of exchange rate, but of course the fact does not change if the pound was even stronger, the prices would be even lower.

Yup, it doesn't matter that you have AMDs top tier card, as the next one down is the better one.

Even I will quote that as BS, a Fury will destroy a 390/390X 8GB in all but a handful of games, 4GB or not. :)

Of course if I only played Forza or whatever windows game it is that only enables high textures for above 4GB then I would buy a card to suite that game and with 390 8G at £199 and 480X 8G at £219, there is great choice. :)
