Throwing together a build for a friend and wondered if it was possible to drop the price any without much compromise, looking for 800-900 range at most.

Is this a gaming build? Surely it would be wise to wait for the Ryzen 3000 at this point? Ryzen 3600 should be just around £200 and will be quicker clock for clock and more future proof.
You could throw in a half decent cooler if you wanted to overclock too.
The graphics card is chosen on the assumption that you want to use the £800 budget with gaming performance in mind.
2600X is a bad choice at that price. Either wait for the 3600 (which should be around £200) or drop to a 2600 and save a wedge. The AMD 50 bundle with the 2600 and Aorus Elite for £216.98 is stunning value and likely competitive pound for pound with the new generation.
The PSU is overkill. Simply a complete waste of money when you can buy one for under half that price which will be stable and reliable.
On the case; does your friend need a full tower? There are loads of great Midi Towers in the £50-£80 range, so personally I'd be loathed to spend so much money on a case unless it was fulfilling a need (e.g. he needs a bunch of 5.25" bays and six 3.5" drive bays, and/or needs a lot of space for WC gear).
That RAM is a really odd pick given OCUK sells a Team Group equivalent for £30 less. There's even Team Group and Corsair RGB RAM for less money. At £110, you're pretty close to the cheapest 32GB kit:
I've shaved £180 off the build price, while upgrading the SSD to a 480GB one, and upgrading the GPU to a Vega 56. All in all, a significant improvement in gaming performance and a significant cash saving.
Alternatively, keeping your original SSD and GPU choice (or swapping for an RX580) you could get this down to £644.05. That's almost £300 cheaper than your original build, with the only performance difference being a drop from a Ryzen 2600X to a Ryzen 2600 (which isn't much).
