AMD Catalyst 11.1 (Official WHQL) Download & Discussion

Lots of people saying they're older than the last leaked hotfix. No link from the AMD site yet either. I'll give it a little while more for the early adopters to find the bugs for me.
 
Since I only install the display drivers without CCC, will I be alright downloading the 2nd one down from the official AMD site? Smaller files size and it says 'Catalyst Software Suite with APP removed (64 bit) English Only'. No idea what APP is though.
 
New driver has the new CCC2, much nicer than the old I think. The main reason I wanted the update. Not tested performance yet.
 
so are the ones on amds site with the date posted as 26.jan.11 the 11.1a or just 11.1?
they say 11.1
 
Haven't seen any noticeable performance difference between these and the previous hotfix drivers. Hadn't experienced any issues with the previous hotfixes either, so i'm assuming it's primarily about making the new CCC live and rolling up the hotfix for 69xx.
 
ah im not a massive fan of beta drivers,
but may give them a run and compare them to 10.11
ah on third thoughts im chickening out! [it doesnt improve crysis which is what i ran my benchmarks at]
