These drivers|+12.7 caps are bad ass. Bf3 on 7970, oh its smooth. Smooth at 1080p full ultra @ 4xaa. 1200core 1700mem.

i ran heaven and 3dmark. They seem fine

. Scored bit less than on 12.07 betas but thats syntetic. Time to try BF3

and diablo in 3d.

Were you seeing 99% solid gpu usage in heaven?

why is it with every driver since 12.4 my heaven bench tests get lower and lower?

Well in that case it seems like my 2500k @4.6ghz is bottlenecking my 7970 @ 1250core 1700memory. :confused:

I get around 96-97% usage.

I will do during the next run. Can't face 100% fan noise while watching the england game.

Any particular reason? I kept an eye on the Core clock and I'm fairly sure the card is not clocking down.

Just to see what the GPU utilisation is like while it's actually running. Don't have to do a proper benchmark just start a loop, log it for a few mins then stop and check the outputs.

MSI AB shpws 98-99 and gpuz 99-100 so

So far best drivers since 12.4 for me. I did 1.5 hour BF3 round with my mate. No problems what so ever.
Lowest fps 33 so bit better than 31 i had with 12.4 thats with 1080p ultra wo AA. Most of the time its 50+
