AMD Catalyst Application Profiles

Just downloaded the 11.11 drivers and notice that I have the option to install 'Application Profiles', which by default was not ticked and it says I don't currently have them. Probably had the option before but not noticed as I usually just do the 'quick' install.

Are these best avoided or recommended to install? If they were selected by default I wouldn't even bother asking, but as they were not already ticked I guess maybe they're not intended for all configurations?

CAP's are mostly to add/fix CrossFire issues but occasionally they relate to single GPU issues.

As with all driver updates they sometimes break things as well

There should be no harm in installing them.

The latest is 11.11 CAP2 which you'll find on the driver download page.

Thanks. Have just downloaded and installed the 11.11 CAP2 that you mentioned. All seems to be working fine.

I noticed this too, but I didn't tick it as I had the CAPS downloaded separately ready to rock n' roll.
