i have a new water loop on my AMD phenom x 2 560BE and the temps was 29c idle it o now idling at 14c, is there a problem with my temp monitoring program? or can it real be that low?
i am using Core Temp 0.99.8
Water cooling can have great effects don't be surprised.
Even under water at normal room temperature it wouldn't be as low as this, unless its outside in a garage or a very cold room. What is the temperature in the BIOS? Perhaps try another temperature monitoring programme like Open HWMontior. Is is at stock speed also?

I did a bit of a search and found out that some AMD processors have a buggy temp sensor
I have no idea unless that is a rhetorical question.
that is probably only a few degrees over ambient temp (unless your house is freezing) so it's probably right, what are the load temps like ?
my phenom 2 555 runs at the same sort of temps, 29C idle and 55C load with stock cooler its overclocked to 3.8ghz. These temps are when all 4 cores are not unlocked
