Just a shame sometimes some of us seem to bash heads together at times,, Reality is i think the majority of us are here to help and learn from each other where we can

Nicely done Humbug; Beady do you remember what you did to get it to work; which combo; would be good to note if this happens to another.

Humbug said everything I would have said; as pointed out really strange problem. Only thing I would have added is reseat the video card as if the display driver failing could be a sign its not fully seated...

So how is it? Have you had a chance to game/bench yet? I know that's not what it's all about - just would be good to see some results

Everything is working fine, just so relieved to of get it fixed, I thought I was looking at a fresh install of windows. I don't have a clue why it worked, I didn't do anything differently, very very strange!
