AMD: DisplayPort 1.3 and HDMI 2.0 in 2016 Radeon GPUs, First FreeSync Over HDMI Monitors

1080p 30-60Hz would do me fine, no need to wave my nuts in the air for high Hz/4K etc when it comes to TV as it's secondary panel use for me, not everyone wants the highest spec however not blind that some do, VRR techs maturing nicely-especially AMD's FreeSync.

Yeah 1080p 60hz for TV is perfect for me, reason being I just want console support.
Anything higher my pc will handle.

HDR is something I willing to sell my BenQ XL2730Z for. am a sucker when it comes to calibrate my displays and I can only go as far I can do it without special hardware.
The fact HDR does all this for you and picture perfect has me sold.

Interesting, i only buy IPS Displays because of the image quality compared with TN, the down side to that is 60Hz limits.

So HDR is a god send :)

the hdmi stuff is great, shame it didnt make it as a standard
but having samsung onside has to be the next best thing

i havent seen any news of hdr monitors, i think even dells super expensive oled isnt hdr so erm not sure when thats coming
bit difficult talking up your card can hdr when there is no screens besides a couple of higher end tv's that freesync wont work with

feels like we wont see it this year but ill try stay hopeful :o
