AMD Dooms Nvidia in benchmarks

Am I the only one who things there is something wrong with the AMD drivers posted?

The benchmark took place some time early FEB 2016. Crimson 16.11.1 drivers means the drivers are from NOV 2016!!!!

16.1.1 were the main drivers in January (hotfix ones) so more likely they were the ones used.

Saying that, 16.4.1 to 16.1.1 gave a hefty 10% boost on my Nano at DX11 games across the board. (Thank you AMD).

I'm taking this with 200 bags of salt, as I played this at 1440p and 4k 1440p was a solid 60fps with my 4790k and 4k was hovering around mid 40s no jumps or nothing. All this about Nvidia Gimping their cards, I wouldn't say is the case it's just AMD finally taking advantage of their architecture and Nvidia improving theirs for maxwell which in turn widens the gap from 780 Ti to 980. We all know AMD has the more powerful hardware it's just they don't have the software to back it up...

It's pointless testing a beta
1. Settings are locked
2. Code changes from now to release
3. Drivers are not released

I don't understand why theses sites waste there time.

Full release will have advanced settings unlocked with 144fps max frame rate.

1. And ? The AMD fans where not saying this when Nvidia was being creamed in the Alphas, but it was a rock solid 60 all the way through (I've been in both alphas and betas)

2. True but less than three weeks until released, they probably of gone gold now and wont see any big changes in code now. Not ruling out a day one patch.

3. True but I don't think this is a big enough title for AMD to release game ready driver but they have been much better on this in resent months so who knows

Overall from these benches the performance is bang on what I would expect with a game eps in OGL, 980ti leading with the Fury X close behind to the point it doesn't relay matter.

The Doom Alphas and betas bucked the trend of the past few years of betas being glorified demos.
