AMD Dooms Nvidia in benchmarks

Has anyone noticed it says "4k Thrashing" yet the benchmarks are at 1080p ! :)

This is so much chip paper its laughable.

AMD does well in 1440p, with Nvidia's GeForce GTX 980 Ti could only manage 41FPS and 51FPS average at 1440p, while the R9 290 has a 55FPS average.

So 55fps is well and 51FPS (4 fps less) is an only manage. Oh poor me.

Is the benchmark DX11 or 12?

Because I wouldn't be surprised if it was DX12.
FuryX trashed the 980Ti by a hefty margin on new Ashes of Singularity benchmark

It's OpenGL 4.5

Chances of Vulkan look weak too. IDTech has so much ancient legacy stuff and byzantine code, I doubt it'd be worth rewriting ... probably better to build a new Vulkan engine from scratch.

I also guess 60FPS lock and no multi gpu.

Your card cost over £500 and mine was £200, if these results have any truth you overpaid big style lol. Back to reality though, i doubt these results have much substance as the gtx980ti seems to be a weapon. This engine has either screwed Nvidia or something is wrong with these results.

What I think is more interesting is that it seems they have got a really really new AMD driver.

Based on AMD's naming convention does 16.11.1 mean that these are hotfix drivers from November 2016?

It's pointless testing a beta
1. Settings are locked
2. Code changes from now to release
3. Drivers are not released

I don't understand why theses sites waste there time.

Full release will have advanced settings unlocked with 144fps max frame rate.

testing beta game is fine, games are in beta so long these days
some never leave beta!!!
this game rly disappointed me tho
i thought it might be the return of a real fps game but nope its same slow movement medal giving lame that they churn out

they should scrap it and remake something worthwhile! but they wont :(
