Had one of these whilst playing Assetto Corsa EVO multiplayer in VR for the first time this evening. Ran it again after and it was fine. Things like this don’t usually go away by themselves so I’m wondering what might have caused it.

For context it’s never happened playing Assetto Corsa EVO single player in VR or Assetto Corsa Rally in UEVR.

It is possible it's your undervolt, if it starts to be a thing maybe up it a little, it has happened with my XTX.

1 issue thats caused time outs for me was unstable ram i had to dial back my ram from 6000 to 5800 in bios ram was showing errors on expo in memtest

I had this I uninstalled adrenaline using DDU and used the AMD software removal tool, then updated the chipset drivers then re installed the adrenaline drivers again and so far fine.

Well I just booted my PC up and I got the message from Adrenalin that a driver timeout had been detected. I hadn’t started any games or any thing. Just logged in to desktop and got this message.

Come to think of it I think I can recall having this message on the odd occasion in the past but thought nothing of it.

Well I had another one and a half hour, online VR gaming session this afternoon until the battery of my headset got down to 4% and have no further problems to report.

If your GPU is overclocked, run it stock for a few days and see if the timeouts go away. If not, it's something else. Run CPU and RAM at stock and test again.
Process of elimination :)
