good job too i am an amd fan and have an X2 3800 but i have to say it at the moment with intels conroe chip amd need to pull there fingers out or it will be another victory for intels

AMD common you can do it ;)

Well, from comments and the AMD, INTEL further roadmaps all over the internet I would say, they most likely will be neck and neck for the next some years.
 
anyone have any more information on K8L other than massive FPU improvement and superior pre-fetching, what else is AMD bringing to the table with this one? :confused:

You do realise that this is on about the 'Barcelona' server chip and it is a comparision is against Intel's 'Clovertown' server chip.

Nothing to do with a Core 2 Duo/Quad competitor.


And we all know how well the Opteron did [also a AMD server chip]
