I give up, AMD advise to disable crossfire because it is causing a stutter fest experience for a game they bundle with cards....... yep Battlefront.

Someone's getting 380x data from somewhere

Talk about disappointing, a 280x is only a couple of frames behind a 380x. That's a great generational improvement.
I can't believe this, not with a game of this magnitude...
Don't get hype off of regional announcements.
Nigh-on unbelievable that a 7970 is still a strong performer after this long!!! What an investment that card was back then
The 380x is very disappointing overall. According to Tech power ups review it sits below the 280x for overall performance and it would have done a lot worse if not for the Civilizations result where it got a big win.
It's like the Bio shock result above which is a tsunami among a sea of choppy waves.
Wow, unless you want a specific feature like Free-sync this offers bugger all over what it replaces. I would compare it too the 5770 to 6770 gen leap but that had an excuse being that they were basically two identical cards. I don't know why but I was expecting more from this. Now it's a case of hoping there's a big performance leap with the next Omega drivers but I won't be holding my breath for that as based on past actions if that was the case AMD would have wanted them out for the 380x release reviews.
Thank god for that. At least that's now a no brainer and should help them strengthen there hold on that part of the market.
Overall the performance for a 4GB £190 card is pretty good, its a full 30% faster than a GTX 960, a GTX 780 is only 10% faster.
Its a good and well placed card.
Too expensive, after selling off game codes, my 970 cost less than that.
The 970 is very good at its price point, but its still £60 more and the 970 has the 390 to contend with, its worth it of course but for someone looking at sub £200 its good, the 960 is overpriced at £160.
A major **** up that, if they are going to bundle Battlefront with the X2, but say one half of the card will be disabled in it as they've now broke xfire (as it apparently worked in the BETA), so your X2 will be running the game as a single Nano, and they are saying they are going to take market share back from Nvidia, when they do things like this.
Well what is there to say, it's a temporary issue more than likely but the real measure of the problem is just how temporary it is. I've never been impatient or childish when it comes to this sort of stuff but I can see why it's going to irk some. Still, if they fix it quickly then it's hardly an issue but if they drag there feet then that's when people can rightfully complain. No point in crying over every little thing when Nvidia isn't doing that great with drivers lately either. But it ok its AMD, people will give'em a pass, in so many ways. Its like your 'special child' coming home with a D grade. oh well done son. Come AMD stop screwing around.
