But to answer your question, no.

All it really means is that before you play a Dice game it'll come up with AMD's logo and slogan. It'll run perfectly fine on Intel+nVidia setups.

This isn't anything new, you get this all the time with games developed using nVidia or AMD stuff, just so they get a their name on the game.

AMD will never, ever beat Intel or make it obsolete. If they focused on FX technology the power they'd have to play with would be pretty limited and games would start to look worse, not better. They seem to be throwing their branding on everything these days.
