Do we really need a new thread for every Roy Taylor twitter post?

It's interesting GPU news that happens to have been posted by Roy Taylor (that's FB btw, not Twitter, sorry to be pedantic )
Mrs may have changed the locks so you wont even get in the house, let alone the bedroom mate.Yes, just what we needed more Roy threads. This man is everywhere. I expect to find him in bed with the mrs when i head to bed tonight.
Great news though. Battlefield 3 already has amazing scaling on crossfire. As long as AMD cards are faster than similarly priced Nvidia cards ill be happy.
Sorry I'm not down with all the fake friendship social media stuff .
The way it's going next time I refresh the page I expect page 1 to be just be threads of Roy quotes . You could have just added it to Matt's thread.

Tbf though, bf3 scales pretty nicely with sli too.
Starting with the release of Battlefield 4, all current and future titles using the Frostbite 3 engine — Need for Speed Rivals, Mirror's Edge 2, etc. — will ship optimized exclusively for AMD GPUs and CPUs. While Nvidia-based systems will be supported, the company won't be able to develop and distribute updated drivers until after each game is released
Id like to see this as well, all the review sites seem to use operation swordbreaker, as ive never played more than the intro of the sp ive never bothered with this. Id like to see something like the benchmark tools for the likes of crysis, resi evil etc. Btw Matt, have you went xfire then? For the love of god dice, please include a consistent in game benchmark this year. It will save a lot of arguments here about dodgy benchmarking procedures.

if he gave me a 8970 now id let him stay... and ask if there's anything he would like me to do for him
Nice un, a bigger monitor or 120Hz is my next requirement, sli 670's is a wee bit overkill for 1920x1200. Performance is fantastic though, but the old monitor will have to tide me over till an upgrade. Second card was too good a price to resist.Yes the problem with benchmarks of crysis 3, farcry 3 and battlefield 3 is they lack major consistency. Hopefully that gets rectified with battlefield 4.
I have indeed joined you in the world of multi gpu mate and am loving it. I can now enjoy battlefield 3 maxed out at 1440p with smooth performance and high fps. Although my overclocked 7970 did a sterling job, two 7950's blow it away in performance terms.
