AMD ITX with front panel USB C connector

The only AMD ITX motherboard with a USB 3.2, Gen 2 front header is the Rog Crosshair VIII Impact !!!
We can only hope this improves with B550 motherboards coming in the next few months.

No front USB C though.

On spec sheet, internal USB 3.2 Gen 1 header and external IO 3.2 Gen 2

All cases currently have 3.1 Gen 1 C port cables

USB
Integrated in the CPU:
  1. 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports on the back panel
Integrated in the Chipset:
  1. 1 x USB Type-C™ port on the back panel, with USB 3.2 Gen 2 support
  2. 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (red) on the back panel
  3. 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports available through the internal USB header
  4. 2 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports available through the internal USB header

I know it's listed in the spec sheet but I can't see it in any of the photos.

Internal header is older design. Need a £5 converter to internal USB C . But it's still 3.1 Gen 1 spec which is key.
Reason why it's done like this is to save space having two ports that are the same speed/connection family to cover more cases .
You can convert 3.0 to USB C but lacks the full bandwidth etc

3.1 Gen 1 is exactly the same as 3.0. 5gbps, not the 10gbps Gen 2. It was renamed / rebranded.

The gen 2 internal header is smaller and is usually used for a type-c connector on a case front panel.
